  NOTE:

  Sage 300 CRE versions 26.1 and later use 64-bit Crystal Runtime. This cause may not apply to those versions.

• UAC blocking Crystal reports

1. Run the Sage Desktop as an administrator or update Windows permissions.
2. If the error still occurs, reinstall the Crystal Reports components.
3. If the error still occurs, uninstall and reinstall Sage 300 CRE on the workstation.

Error: "Failed to retrieve data from the database"

Error: "Report is not a valid crystal report design." (Incompatible Crystal Runtime version)
