Receiving the error "cannot print," or nothing printing from Sage 50 Canada.
There can be many reasons why something won’t print. Most causes are unrelated to Sage 50. This article discusses methods for fixing some of these issues, but isn't meant to be inclusive of all.
Method 1: Printer, Form Type or Description
- From the home window, select Setup, Reports & Forms.
- Select the correct Printer.
- Select the correct Form Type.

To select the Crystal Reports Form type, install the Crystal Reports program on the computer

To install Crystal Reports, uninstall and reinstall Sage 50
- Confirm you have the correct Description selected.
- Try changing the Description to a different form and try to Print again.
NOTE: Make customized forms from a Sage 50 template, or in the file location given by the Form field. Otherwise, customize the form again.
Method 2: Printer
- Check to be sure the printer has the expected forms in the tray.
- Check the information in the Reports & Forms Options window.
- If you still can't print, contact your computer professional.
