Error: "Another user is using this email address to open this shared company. You can open the company in read-only mode, which provides limited functionality."
Resolution
Re-download a copy of the shared file
Restart the Connection Manager
Each computer and user must have their own Sage account email address
- If there’s only one user set up and you need multiple simultaneous users
Ensure you don't save the file to a synced folder
- Make sure you don't save the file in a synced folder
On the second computer using the same Sage ID
- Open the file in multi-user mode and close it. Don't trigger an automatic backup
- Then reopen the file on the problematic PC
Use another Sage ID
- Use another Sage ID to log in the shared company
