Summary
How to add or remove fields and columns from standard forms and reports
Cause
We provide guidance on how to use report customization features, but we can't customize a report for you. See our Scope of Support for more details.
Resolution
NOTE: Fields inserted this way can't use custom formulas.
Open the form in the Sage 50 Forms Designer:
- Click Setup, Reports & Forms.
- Select the form you want to customize and click the Customize Form button.
Remove fields:
- Right-click the field and choose Delete, if it is at the beginning or end of the form.
- Select final page on the right side of the form designer, if you can't see the field
- If the field is part of a column set:
- Click the Columns button on the right side.
- Remove the check mark from the field you want to remove.
- Click OK.
- Go to File, Save as. You’ll need to overwrite an existing form you’ve customized, or re-save the form with a new file name.

Add fields:
- Click the
icon on the left side of the form designer to add random text. - Click the
icon on the left side of the form designer to add any of the-predefined columns (data fields).
