How to add or remove fields and columns from standard forms and reports

Cause

We provide guidance on how to use report customization features, but we can't customize a report for you.  See our Scope of Support for more details.

Resolution

NOTE: Fields inserted this way can't use custom formulas.

Open the form in the Sage 50 Forms Designer:

  1. Click Setup, Reports & Forms.
  2. Select the form you want to customize and click the Customize Form button.

Remove fields:

  1. Right-click the field and choose Delete, if it is at the beginning or end of the form.
    • Select final page on the right side of the form designer, if you can't see the field
  2. If the field is part of a column set:
    1. Click the Columns button on the right side.
    2. Remove the check mark from the field you want to remove.
    3. Click OK.
  3. Go to File, Save as. You’ll need to overwrite an existing form you’ve customized, or re-save the form with a new file name.
