How to file an 'Amended' T4

Filing an amended T4 in Sage 50 Accounting. Use this option when you upload the wrong file to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and need to upload a new version.

1. Contact the CRA to cancel the uploaded files. Confirm with the CRA if you need to set the new T4 to Amended.
2. Re-generate the T4 in Sage 50 and select Amended from the Report Type Code dropdown.
   
3. Re-upload the file to the CRA website.
