Summary

Error: "This company was previously connected to Sage HR and needs to be opened in single-user mode first to determine the connection status" when switching to multi-user mode in a Remote Data Access Sage 50 Accounting company file.

Resolution

  1. Close Sage and re-open Sage 50.
  2. Go to File, Connect to a shared company.
  3. Redownload the file to a new location on the C Drive.
