How to retrieve your Sage 50 Accounting backup when you have an existing Microsoft 365 Business Standard License with cloud backup setup.
Use one of the two methods to access your backups.
Locate the company under Teams and groups
- Go to the Microsoft 365 website.
- Log in using your [email protected] account.
- Click Admin on the left menu to access M365 Admin center.
- On the Admin Centre screen, select Teams & groups.
- Double-click Active teams & groups.
- Select your Sage 50 company.
- Click Site address at the bottom of the page.
- Select the Backup folder to see all your cloud backups.
- The cloud backups will be date and time-stamped
- Select a backup and download it to your local computer.
- Restore the backup.
Access the company from OneDrive
- Go to the Microsoft 365 website.
- Log in using your [email protected] account.
- From the app selection window, choose OneDrive.
- Click the settings gear wheel on the top right and choose OneDrive Settings.
- Select Return to Classic OneDrive at the bottom-left corner.
- Select the desired company.
- Select the Backup folder to see all your cloud backups. The cloud backups will be date and time-stamped.
NOTE: For some accounts, it takes 24 to 48 hours for the backups shortcut to show in OneDrive. The backups will still be available in SharePoint during this time. - Select a backup and download it to your local computer.
- Restore the backup.
