Summary

The error "Download has failed" occurs when downloading a file from Remote Data Access (RDA) in Sage 50 Accounting.

Resolution

Remote Data Access

  1. If the issue occurs on a second computer after downloading a newly converted shared file via RDA.
    • On the computer where you uploaded the file, go to File, Remote Data Access, Pause Sharing, then Resume Sharing.
    • On the second computer, download the file again. On the Welcome screen, choose Connect to a shared company.
  2. Run an internet speed test.  If the test reports slow speeds, discontinue using Remote Data Access.
