CAUTION: Sage support can't assist with third-party products, hardware, report customizations, or state and federal tax questions. Refer to our Scope of Support for more info. Contact your Sage business partner, network administrator, or accountant for assistance.

Sage 50 does not have a function that allows you to export journal entries, there is only a function to import them.

Workaround:

  1. From the main Sage 50 window, click ReportsJournal Entries, General.
  2. Customize the report settings and date range as appropriate.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Click the Open in Excel button.
  5. Save the file.
Note: This file can be saved in various formats and can be adjusted to be imported back into Sage 50. For further information, see Importing miscellaneous transactions from a text file into Sage 50-Canadian Edition.
