Can I open a data file in two different versions?

It's not possible to open a data file in two different versions. 

Upgrade the company

• You can open a Pro company file in Premium and Quantum
• You can open a Premium company file in Quantum

  NOTE: Once the data file is updated to a higher version, it can’t be opened by a lower version.

• You can’t open a Quantum Company in Premium or Pro
• You can’t open a Premium company in Pro

 NOTE: A "lower version" also applies to earlier releases. An earlier Sage 50 release won’t be able to open company data that has been converted to the latest release.
