Downgrading to a lower edition of Sage 50

Description

When creating a company file, it can be in any of the following editions:
- Pro
- Premium
- Quantum
With the Accountant's Edition, you can open any of the editions
It’s only possible to open files coming from the same edition or a higher edition. For example:
- Pro data file requires Pro, Premium, or Quantum
- Premium requires Premium or Quantum
- Quantum requires Quantum

Choose one of the following options:

For example, if you're using Sage 50 Pro but the data file is in Premium, upgrade to Premium or Quantum.

Create a new company file in the edition that you have.
Export records from the original file to the new one.
- You can export accounts, employees, inventory and services, customers, vendors, projects, and the chart of accounts
- Transaction details won’t be transferable
