Steps to record a preauthorized payment.
Resolution
Note: You must have a service plan with EFT for PAD.
- In the customer record, go to the Pre-Authorized Debit tab, and click "This customer has a signed active preauthorized-debit agreement". Fill in the customer's banking information and click Save and Close.

- When creating a sales invoice, select Pre- Authorized Debit (PAD) from Payment Method:

- Process the invoice as required
- Setup the EFT. See Sage 50 EFT Direct (Electronic Fund Transfer) integration setup
- Submit the generated .DAT file to your bank. Follow How do I generate a Pre-Authorized Deposit (PAD) EFT / CAFT data file?
