Can I print/email multiple types of sales invoices?

In my company file, can I save several types of customized forms for sales invoices? Can I switch to a different style of invoice depending on the customer? Can the form designer store multiple versions of my sales invoices? Can I print different sorts of sales invoices with various logos? Is it possible to email a particular invoice template to such or such client? What are Invoice Styles? Can I store multiple Sales Journal interface styles?

To store different types of customized invoice forms, use Invoice Styles.

WHAT ARE INVOICE STYLES?

• A Sales Journal entry is always associated with an Invoice Style.
• An Invoice Style is made of a customized journal + a customized form.
• There are 3 different customizable styles: Standard, Retail, or Professional.

SETUP

• In the Sales Journal, go to View > Invoice Style and select Standard, Retail, or Professional.
• All the display changes you then make to the journal interface (number of columns, order of columns, width of columns, tabulation rules) will be saved under this style.
• Go to View > Customize Journal > Columns and click the Form Options button to set up the way printed invoices will look for this invoice style.
• You can also access these options by going to Setup > Reports & Forms > Invoice and then select the proper Invoice Style at the top of the interface.

HOW TO SWITCH STYLES

• When you post a Sales Journal entry, select the invoice style (Standard, Retail, or Professional) corresponding to the customized form you want to print/email for your customer.
• If you want to change the invoice style of an already posted sale, you will have to adjust the journal entry, select the right invoice style, and re-post it.
• Every user can have their own customized forms, as the Reports and Forms setup is per user.
  In theory, you can use as many customized invoice forms as you want for your company since you can create as many users as you want and each user has three customizable invoice styles.
