How to install or update the Connection Manager on the server

Steps to install the Connection Manager on the server where you store your Sage 50 Accounting company data.

To install the Connection Manager

1. Log in to the server.
2. Download the program and run the .exe file.
3. Select Yes for the Windows Firewall setup and select Next.
4. Select Advanced installation type.
5. Select Next to proceed.
6. Select Server - only for Sage 50 Server Components and select Finish.

To update the Connection Manager

1. Go to the Windows Start menu.
2. Type Sage 50 Connection Manager and select the App.
3. Click the Update button.
    NOTE: The Update button will only show if you selected a Server-only install.
4. If you don't see the Update button, follow the steps above to reinstall the connection manager.
