| How to view Stripe activity |
Description | After connecting your Stripe account to Accounting, customers can make card payments directly from your emailed invoices. You can also take your customer's card information and apply a payment directly to their invoice. The Stripe account in Accounting differs from your other bank accounts. You can’t connect it to a bank feed, import statements, initiate a transfer (in or out), or perform a manual reconciliation. Also, Accounting automatically maintains the Stripe balance. You can’t manually adjust it by creating transactions. |
Resolution | To view your Stripe receipts - Go to Banking, then click the Stripe bank account.
- Click a transaction to open its details.
- From this page, you can see the:
- Total amount charged
- Stripe fee amount
- Net amount you received in your bank account, and more
- Optionally, click the invoice number to view the related invoice.
- Close the dialog to return to the Stripe bank activity page.
Accessing the Stripe Dashboard After connecting to Stripe, you can also use the Stripe Dashboard to view your activity. To access it, go to Banking and then click View Dashboard on the Stripe account. Don't attempt to process Accounting transactions or manual payouts from the Stripe Dashboard. |
