| Description | During the fiscal year-end close process, I receive this error: - Function User Details

- Status code: 000009
- Error message: End of file reached. This may indicate that the file has become corrupted and needs to be repaired.
- An error has occurred while trying to access data

| Resolution | There are two options to resolve the issue: Increase the number of years to retain: - Restore the backup done before the year-end close.
- Go to Utilities, System Manager, System Setup, General Ledger, then G/L Setup.
- In the Years of history to retain, increase the number of years to retain.
- Click Apply, Click OK.
Remove some history years - Restore the backup done before year-end close.
- Go to Utilities, System Manager, System Setup, General Ledger, then G/L Setup.
- Change the Years of history to retain.
 EXAMPLE: If it's 10, and you want to remove 2 years, change it to 8.- Click Apply.
- Change it back to 10.
- Click OK.
- Perform the fiscal year-end process again.
