Locate the temporary work table

Note: These instructions assume familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and database tables. Sage Customer Support doesn’t assist with accessing or retrieving data. You must understand SQL query usage.

1. In the Sage 100 Premium desktop, open the report or form that you want to preview.

Example: Go to Sales Order, Main menu, Sales Order Printing, enter your selection criteria, and click Preview.

2. Leave the Crystal Reports Preview window open.

Note: Closing the Preview window deletes the report's temporary work table.

3. Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio for the SQL Server instance that stores Sage 100 Premium data.

4. In Object Explorer, browse to:

Databases

System Databases

tempdb

Temporary Tables

5. Locate the temporary work table.

Example: dbo.##SO_SalesOrderWrkUSRmmddhhhhhhhh

USR represents the user code.

mmdd represents the month and day.

hhhhhhhh represents the decimal hour value.

In this example, the value corresponds to approximately 2:49 PM.

6. Select New Query and run a SQL statement to retrieve data from the table.

Note: The asterisk wildcard returns all records and fields.

Example: SELECT * FROM tempdb.dbo.dbo.##SO_SalesOrderWrkUSR12311482058
