You store the data locally

Connection Manager not started
  1. Go to the Windows Start menu.
  2. Type Sage 50 Connection Manager and select the App.
  3. Open the Connection Manager.
  4. Select Restart Service, then OK.
  5. Verify that you no longer receive the message.
Connection Manager not in the system tray

You store your data on a server

  1. Go to the server where you store the database.
  2. Install the Sage 50 Connection Manager on the server.
  3. You can now open your company file.

You store your data in a synchronized folder

  1. Go to the cloud and copy the data (the SAI file and the SAJ folder).
  2. Put the data locally on the computer that runs the full version of Sage 50.
    • Or put the data on a file-sharing computer/server where you installed the Sage 50 connection manager.

You store your data on an external device

  • Move the data locally to a computer that runs the full version of Sage 50
  • Move the file to a file-sharing server that has the Sage 50 Connection Manager installed on it
