The Connection Manager is not in the system tray

Resolution

Situation 1:

  1. Restart the computer.
  2. Check the system tray for the Connection Manager.

Situation 2:

  1. Open Windows Explorer
  2. Browse to C:\Program Files(x86)\winsim\ConnectionManager
  3. Double-click on Simply.SystemTrayIcon.exe
  4. Locate the Connection Manager icon in the system tray
  5. Double-click to open the Connection Manager
  6. Select Start Service if necessary;
  7. Make Status Running = Yes
  8. Ensure System service = Yes

Situation 3:

    1. Open Windows Explorer
    2. Go to C:\Program Files(x86)\winsim\ConnectionManager
    3. If Simply.SystemTrayIcon.exe is missing, reinstall Sage 50
