Accessing AI Document Capture (AIDC) in Multi-User mode

AIDC in Sage 50 requires sysadmin cloud onboarding in Single‑User mode; afterward, authorized users can upload documents, one at a time, to review and post. Other users can still upload purchase invoices to AIDC using the email option as a workaround while it’s in use by another user.

• To use AIDC, you must onboard the Sage 50 file to the cloud.
• Only the sysadmin, also known as the data owner can initiate the cloud onboarding and the AIDC connection.
  NOTE:

  This follows the same design as other cloud‑connected features in Sage 50, such as RDA and HR integration.

• The sysadmin must be in Single‑User mode to complete the cloud onboarding.

If you attempt to connect to AIDC without completing cloud onboarding as the sysadmin in Single‑User mode, the following messages appear:

After connecting to AIDC, you can access the feature in either Single‑User or Multi‑User mode by both sysadmin and non‑sysadmin users. All users must have the appropriate access rights to the Payables module.

Only one user can use AIDC at a time. If another user attempts to open AIDC while it's already in use, they’ll see the following warning:
