Unable to find some invoice numbers in the quick search

Summary

Invoice numbers with special characters won't come up in the Sage 50 Accounting quick search.

Resolution

  • Remove special characters such as - or / when numbering invoices
  • Use basic search, advanced search, customer aged reporting, or other reports to find the transaction
