The employee count and amounts on T4 summary are incorrectly double

Summary

T4 summary prints double employee amounts when printed on preprinted forms in Sage 50 Accounting.

Description

Use plain paper settings and select the option to print Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) copy when printing T4 summaries.

Resolution

  1. Go to Setup, Reports & Forms, Government Forms, Federal Payroll.
  2. Select Plain-paper & Laser inkjet form Form Type for T4 Summary Printer Settings.
  3. Go to Reports, Payroll, T4 Slips and Summary.
  4. Select the Print CRA copy checkbox.
  5. Fill out the required fields.
  6. Re-print T4 summary.
