Error: "There was an error giving the user Remote Data Access..."

Error: "There was an error giving the user Remote Data Access. Please try again later" when adding users in a Sage 50 Accounting shared company.

1. Open the company file as sysadmin in single user mode.
2. Go to File, Remote Data Access, Stop Sharing.
3. Go to Setup, Set Up Users, and enter the sysadmin password.
4. Select the user with issue and select Remove User.
5. Select Share at the top right to share the file again.
6. Re-add the user. If the user email has the same domain as the sysadmin, use a different email for this user.
