Summary

Steps to create a Payroll Advance or Loan in Sage 50 Accounting Canadian Edition.

Resolution

  1. Open the Paycheque module and select an employee.
  2. While in the Income tab, under Other Amounts, enter an amount in either the Advances row or the Loans row in the This Period column.
    • The Advances option in Sage 50 Accounting calculates taxes
    • The Loans option in Sage 50 Accounting does not calculate taxes
