You have previously onboarded a Microsoft 365 account with Sage as your Cloud Solution Provider. You received emails from Microsoft about the expiration of your Granular admin relationship with Sage Software Ltd. There’s no action needed. The granular admin relationship ending won’t cause issues with the Microsoft subscription or the Sage integration. 

Q: What do I need to do?

A: No action is necessary. You received the due to Sage terminating an unneeded GDAP relationship. 

Q: What is GDAP?

A: GDAP stands for Granular Delegated Admin Privileges. A GDAP relationship is established with a customer to install Office Integrations or to provide support. 

Q: Who will receive the termination notification?

A: Customers who have owned the Microsoft Office Integration from Sage. At some point, you set up the Office integration and created a relationship to install the integration. The relationship isn't needed and was terminated.

Q: Will Sage 50 Cloud backups still work?

A: The Sage 50 Cloud backup to work without a GDAP relationship.

Q: Will I get an email if I no longer do business with Sage?

A: Yes. Customer GDAP relationships remain until they’re terminated. 

Q: What notifications can I receive?

A: You can receive two types of notifications from Microsoft:

  • Expiration Notification - Microsoft sends a notification 30 days, 7 days, and on the date of expiration.
  • Termination Notification - Microsoft sends a notification when terminated.
