How do I do a basic reinstall of Sage 50?

This article advises on how to uninstall Sage 50 and reinstall it.

Resolution

  1. Right-click the Windows Start menu and go to Apps and Features.
  2. Find and click the version of Sage 50 from the application list and click Uninstall. Follow the uninstall wizard.
  3. Reinstall Sage 50 by going to C:\\ Sage and find your version of Sage 50 from the list of Accounting Installer file folders.
    • if you don’t see the folder, redownload the version you require

  4. Double-click launch.exe and follow the install wizard.
  5. After program installation, open any company or the sample company and perform a product update by going to Help, Check for Product Updates...
