Error: "Unable to retrieve subscription" when a valid subscription exists

Description

I also get one of these errors:

  • "Remote Data Access is not currently available to all subscribers. If you have a subscription or service plan that includes Remote Data Access, please check back soon."
  • "Your customer record indicates that you are not enrolled in a service plan that provides product updates."
  • "To Pay vendors and employees or collect payments from customers through Direct Payments..."

Resolution

  1. From the main screen of Sage 50, go to Help, Update service plan.
  2. Confirm the account ID is correct and click Check Service Plan.
  3. After the service plan information is retrieved, close Sage 50 completely and reopen it.
