Setup was unable to detect an installation of Adobe Acrobat Reader

Summary

Resolving the error "Setup was unable to detect an installation of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Acrobat Reader is required for viewing the online manuals. Acrobat Reader can be installed from the Autorun screen" during installation of Sage 100.

Cause

Adobe Acrobat Reader is not installed on the computer.

Resolution

The following message appears during an install of Sage 100 ERP:

"Setup was unable to detect an installation of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Acrobat Reader is required for viewing the online manuals. Acrobat Reader can be installed from the Autorun screen."

Install Acrobat Reader from the Productivity Applications menu. 



  1. Launch Autorun.exe from the install image or from the wksetup folder for workstations under MAS90\wksetup.
  2. Click on Productivity Applications.
  3. Click on Install Acrobat Reader.
