When uploading file to Sage Drive, get a message: "The information sent to Sage Drive was not correctly formatted. Sage Drive could not understand the request. Please try again."
- Directory where local company file is located may have have corrupted security or folder settings
- Name of company file in Sage Drive and name of company SAI file and SAJ folder may be too long
- Spaces or parentheses in file name
- The folder name where the data is located has a dash and a space
- Company file directory includes the Program Files(x86) folder
Option 1: Long name
- If the name in Company in Sage Drive is too long, reduce it and try to Upload and Share again.
- If there are spaces or parentheses in the company SAI file name and SAJ folder, remove special characters and rename the file to something shorter, see related resources for instructions on renaming company files
Option 2: Reupload
- Make a backup of company file and restore to another folder location
- Retry uploading file via Sage Drive from new location
Option 3: Location
- Ensure the file is located in a local drive with a folder name without any special characters like below:

- For best results, put the file in a folder called C:\\Sage or C:\\Sage Drive Files and Upload again
