Summary

Sage 50 201x will not convert older Simply Accounting data but 2015 is installed 2019 does not detect 2015 installed 2018 does not detect 2015 I have 2015 installed 2015 is installed Error: "This file was created with Sage 50 (Release 2013.4 or earlier). You can open this file if an earlier version of Sage 50 (release 2014.0 to 2015.3) is also installed." but I have 2015 installed 2015 is not detected Cannot find 2015 to convert

  • Firewall
  • Broken 2015 install

Resolution

Section I: Uninstall / reinstall

  1. Press Windows key and type in Programs and features
  2. Press Enter
  3. Find Sage 50 2015 and uninstall it
  4. Browse to C:\Sage
  5. Click on the 2015 installer folder
  6. Double click on launch.exe
  7. Reinstall the latest version of Sage 50
    • Browse to C:\Sage
    • Click on the latest version of Sage 50 installer folder
    • Double click on launch.exe
