Error: "Invalid date. The start date must be between dd/mm/yyyy and dd/mm/yyyy" when posting an income or expense in the bank reconciliation window

• Posting of transactions prior to a specific date are not allowed in the Settings
• The bank rec you are trying to post might be in the previous fiscal year

Note: If you are trying to do the bank rec and you need to post transactions this way, you could be trying the affect the previous fiscal years tax filing. Consult an accountant before proceeding with this method

Solution I:

• Go to Setup, Settings, Company, System
• Uncheck Do No Allow Transactions dated before
• Process the require bank reconciliation
