You can always compare the information in the XML with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) XML specifications on the CRA website.
Resolution
- Microsoft Word with Microsoft 365 has an XML data viewer
- Open the file in Microsoft Word
- Don’t save the file in Microsoft Word - close the file when finished viewing
- Another easy way to view the raw XML data is in the Microsoft Edge browser
- Make sure each employee in the eFile appears once
