How to check the integrity of company data.


  1. Check to assess the completeness and accuracy of your transaction entries and accounts. Sage 50 Accounting compares the balance in each account to the sum of all the transaction entries.
  2. In the Home window, on the Maintenance menu, choose Check Data Integrity.
  3. Check the results for any account balances marked with an asterisk (indicates accounts are out of balance).
  4. Click OK.
  5. If there are any balance or corruption issues with your data

    1.  Restore your company to the most recent backup with no errors
      • Check the integrity of the backup's data. If there are still issues with balance or corrupted data, continue restoring the next most recent backup until there are no issues with the integrity of your company's data
