What are Auto-Renewals?  
 
 For all service plans: 
  • Your service plan will renew automatically, on an annual basis. 
  • You no longer need to send in paper cheques or manually provide payment information: your credit card will be billed automatically!

Resolution

How it Works

Upon renewal of your service plan–no extra paperwork is needed:

  • You will receive an email prior to your plan expiration date which will detail your service plan renewal information, including the date we will bill your credit card, as well as information on how to contact us if you wish to make changes to or cancel your plan.1

Call 1-888-261-9610 (6 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT) if you have questions about your service plan auto-renewals or need to update your information.

1 Minimum one-year commitment required. Valid credit card and internet access are required to activate and maintain support and services. Activation of your Sage Business Care plan must occur within 30 days of your product registration to have access to benefits for the entire term of your plan. To ensure continuous service, your Sage Business Care plan is an automatically renewing plan and you will be charged up to a week prior to your renewal date. The traditional plan is an annual plan with a perpetual license to the software, therefore you own the license. The subscription plan is an annual subscription with a lease to the software license, therefore you can only use the software while you are on the plan. You may terminate any of the plans with at least ten days’ notice prior to your renewal date and not be charged for the renewal, however, if you terminate your subscription plan or if your subscription payment is not received you will have read only access to your data and full program functionality will not be restored until you have brought your account current. The subscription plan requires that you be on the most current version of the software to continue your subscription.

2 Receive an update to the most up-to-date Sage 50 when it is released.

3 A Sage Business Care annual plan or subscription with payroll and use of the current version of Sage 50 is required for all payroll features and functionality. When Sage 50 starts up, it will automatically validate your payroll subscription status over the internet.

4 Support Specialists reserve the right to limit duration of telephone support calls or online chat sessions to one hour.

Note: Customers who have chosen to opt-out of our autorenewing payment method will be charged a $10 administration surcharge at the time of renewal.
