• The quantity for the item you are transferring is below zero at one of your locations.
• The value will still be negative after the transfer

1. Go to the Inventory module and open the inventory record that you are trying to do a transfer for. You can also use the Inventory Summary report on the Latest transaction date and showing location information.
2. Make a note of the quantity and value for each location.
3. You can switch between each location by using the For Location drop down menu.
4. Perform the necessary inventory adjustments to bring the item quantity to what it should be at the relevant location.
