How to reset your Sage account (formerly Sage ID) password while in Sage 50

This article guides you through resetting your Sage account using Sage 50 Canadian Edition.

Resolution

Sage 50 is not installed:

  1. Go to https://account.sso.sage.com and click Forgot Password.
  2. Follow the wizard to reset your password.

Sage 50 is installed:

  1. While in the latest version of Sage 50, on the Welcome startup window, go to Connect to a Shared Company.
  2. Go to File, Connect to a Shared Company.
  3. Enter your Sage account email address and click Forgot Password.
    1. If you don't see Forgot password, click Log in as a different user
  4. Check your email for the password reset link.
    1. Make sure to check junk/spam mailboxes
    2. If you don't receive the email contact support
    3. If you close or leave, the page you have to start the process over
  5. Enter and confirm a new password.
  6. Log in with your new password in Connect to a Shared Company.
