Description
- My payroll doesn't calculate automatically, and I get the above message and it won’t update my current service plan
- When I try to do a paycheque, the employee name selector is greyed out
Resolution
Method 1: I want to use automatic payroll.
- Call the number in the message and update your service or try the 60-day free payroll trial option in the message options.
Method 2: If you don't have the latest version of Sage 50.
- In Sage 50 go to Help, Check for Product Updates.
- Download and install the new version if available.
- Try doing the payroll in the latest version.
Method 3: If you have an active service plan.
- Select I have a service plan that includes payroll to update your program with the new information.
Method 4: If prompted to enter a Payroll ID.
- Select Enter Payroll ID and enter the new payroll ID.
Method 5: I only want manual payroll but the error occurs when I’m not doing any auto tax calculation activities.
- If the payroll subscription isn’t automatic, go to Help, Upgrade Your Sage 50 Product.
- Verify the serial info is entered correctly.
- Click OK.
