Summary

The ROE is showing no insurable hours When creating a ROE for an employee, the insurable hours are not present No insurable hours are showing in the Record of Employment

Description

Cause

  • The employee is not paying EI premiums, so there are no insurable hours recorded
  • There are no hours recorded on the employees paycheque

Resolution

  • When an employee is not paying Employment Insurance premiums, no insurable hours are recorded
  • If there are no hours recorded on the paycheque the ROE will show zero insurable hours

Verify:

  1. Open a payroll cheque for the employee
  2. Verify that EI did not calculate
  3. If there are no hours recorded in the paycheques you can use the adjust function on each paycheque to add the correct hours to the Income tab in the paycheque
