This article outlines the steps to create a sales invoice in Sage 50 Canadian Edition.
- In Enhanced View, click Customers & Sales/Receivables pane then click Sales Invoices.
- In the Sales / Sales Journal - Creating an Invoice window, select the Customer.
- Verify the Invoice No.
- Verify the Date.
- Enter any other information necessary (Shipping Date, Salesperson, Ship from, etc).
- Verify Shipping Address.
- If converting a Contract/Estimate, select it in Contract/Estimate No. dropdown list.
- Click in the main body of the invoice.
- Enter or verify the Items on the invoice with the necessary information (Quantity, Description, Price, etc).
- Select an account number. To record revenue, select the appropriate Revenue account.

- Enter any applicable Freight amount.
- Click Process/Post.
