How do I enter a sales invoice?

Resolution

  1. In Enhanced View, click Customers & Sales/Receivables pane then click Sales Invoices.
  2. In the Sales / Sales Journal - Creating an Invoice window, select the Customer.
  3. Verify the Invoice No.
  4. Verify the Date.
  5. Enter any other information necessary (Shipping Date, Salesperson, Ship from, etc).
  6. Verify Shipping Address.
  7. If converting a Contract/Estimate, select it in Contract/Estimate No. dropdown list.
  8. Click in the main body of the invoice.
  9. Enter or verify the Items on the invoice with the necessary information (Quantity, Description, Price, etc).
  10. Select an account number. To record revenue, select the appropriate Revenue account.
  11. Enter any applicable Freight amount.
  12. Click Process/Post.
