How to activate the payroll ID with Sage 50 Accounting payroll service

How to enter your new payroll ID after upgrading your Sage 50 Accounting payroll service.

In Sage 50 Accounting, go to Help, then Update Service Plan.
Select Activate my Payroll, or Update Payroll ID.
Enter the payroll ID.

NOTE:

You can find your Payroll ID on the Sage Customer Portal under active services. You can also find your Payroll ID in your Sage purchase or renewal confirmation email.
Verify and enter your Account ID (starts with 400).
Select Help, then Upgrade your Sage 50 product.
Select Retrieve my Key Code from Sage 50 online.
Select OK.
Go to Help, then Update Service Plan.
Select Check service plan.
A window will pop-up thanking you for registering for payroll.
Select OK.
