Description
Cause
- Firewall
- Installer is bad and need to redownload
Resolution
Option 1: Antivirus
- Verify that the firewall and antivirus are disabled
Option 2: Run setup.exe
- Browse to the installation file folder (eg. C:\Sage\Sage 50 Accounting Installer Files - CDN Release 20xx.x)
- Open the setup folder
- Right click on the setup.exe and run as administrator
Option 3: Run the Microsoft Fix-it tool
- See Additional information section ofError: "Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue..." when installing a full version of Sage 50.
Option 4: Installer is a bad copy
- Re-download the latest version of Sage 50 again. See Sage 50: Download Portal
