Method 1: The prior outstanding transaction already exists in Sage 50

  1. Click Add Prior outstanding on the Reconciliation & Deposits window.
    • Note: Add Prior outstanding radio button will be available if you are reconciling the bank account first time or after resetting the bank reconciliation.
  2. Set the date (Show Resolved Trans. On or After) as far back as the oldest prior outstanding transaction.
    • You may have to type the date manually (instead of selecting through the calendar button) and press the Tab key on your keyboard.
  3. Select the transactions from Resolved Transaction section.
  4. Click Add.
  5. The transaction shows up in Outstanding Transactions section.
  6. Repeat from 2. for additional transactions as necessary.
  7. Click  OK.

    • Note: Add Prior outstanding radio button will be available if you are reconciling the bank account first time or after resetting the bank reconciliation.
  2. If the transactions would not show in Resolved Transaction section.
