How to set an account to inactive in Sage 50 Accounting. This account must have a zero dollar balance and no transactions posted in the current or previous fiscal year.
- Open the chart of account.
- Double-click the account to load the account record window.
- On the lower left, add a checkmark to Inactive Account.
- Click Save and Close.
