How do I print T4 or RL-1 older than the previous year?

Summary

I’m trying to print T4 (or RL-1) for a year older than my previous year but Sage 50 Canadian Edition only allows printing for the current and previous year.

Resolution

  1. Make a backup of your current data.
  2. Restore an older backup containing the required year to a test file rather than overwriting your data. 
  3. Run the T4/RL-1 report and print it.
  4. Discard/delete the restored file and reopen your current data.
