Summary
When printing in Sage 300 CRE, I receive the message "Printer not activated error code -41" or "Printer not activated error code -30".
Description
This issue can occur when printing reports, checks, or other forms.
Cause
The user has insufficient network permissions on printer objects.
Resolution

Update permissions
Set sufficient network permissions on network printer objects.
- Browse to your network printer objects.
- Right-click the default printer object and select Printer Properties.
Note: If the error occurs while printing to a .PDF or a .XLS file, verify permissions on the TS PDF Generator. - Go to the Security tab.
- Check Allow on the proper users group for Print, Manage Printers and Manage Documents checkbox.
- Click OK.
Note: If you're on Windows 10, try running the program as an administrator
