How to install Sage 50 Accounting on another computer

Resolution

Search the computer for the installation file

  1. Press Windows key + R, type explorer, then click OK.
  2. Browse to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Sage Software\Simply Accounting\Download.
  3. Look for the exe for the correct version.
    • SA_202XCP1.exe is the full product installer, and
    • SA_202XCPUP1.exe is the product update installer

Copy the installer folder onto a USB stick

  1. Insert a USB key into the first computer.
  2. Copy the C:\Sage\Sage 50 Accounting Installer Files - CDN Release 20XX.X onto your USB stick.
  3. Switch the USB to the second computer.
  4. Copy the Sage Installer folder from the USB stick your C: drive under Sage (Create if necessary).
  5. Browse to C:\Sage\.
  6. Select launch.exe to install Sage 50 on the second computer.

Redownload the installation folder

Download the program again on the second computer, making sure to download the same version that you installed on the first.
