Resolution

To set up the tips

  1. Go to Setup, Settings, Payroll, then Incomes.
  2. Add a checkmark to Track Quebec Tips.
  3. Click OK.

You can now create paycheques with Quebec tips.

To pay out the tips

  1. Create a new Income type Reimbursement.
  2. Create a new account called Tips in the Chart of Accounts.
