How to open the sample company

How to open a Sample Company in Sage 50 Accounting.

Open from the Welcome menu

1. Open Sage 50 Accounting.
2. Select Open a sample company from the Welcome menu and click OK. 
3. Click OK on the session date. There's no need to change the session date as this is a sample company.

Open the file using File Explorer

1. Go to C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Simply Accounting\20XX\Samdata\<version*>\Universl.
    NOTE: <version*> is your version of the program, which is Pro, Premium, or Enterprise. 
2. Select Universl and click OK.
3. To open from the Welcome menu in the future.
   • On the main screen, click View and select the checkbox Select Company Window at Startup.
