Resolution

Method 1: The user has full accounting rights.

  1. In the sales/purchase invoice, select View on the menu and then Customize Journal.
  2. Select Columns.
  3. Put a checkmark for all the items you don’t need on the invoice.
  4. Click OK.

Method 2: The user doesn't have full accounting rights.

  1. The sysadmin user needs to give full accounting rights to the user temporarily. Follow the steps How do I add/remove line item discounts for sales invoices?
  2. This user can log in as a temporarily unrestricted user.
  3. In the sales/purchase invoice, select View on the menu and then Customize Journal.
  4. Select Columns.
  5. Put a checkmark for all the items you don’t need on the invoice.
  6. Click OK.
  7. The sysadmin can reset the user's accounting rights to how they were.
